Welcome to our home! Moishe House Somerville is the Inman Square home of Alex, Akiva, Ben & Shira, where we host cocktail parties, arts & crafts nights, shabbat dinners & more in Inman Square.
We're here to create a strong, fun and caring Jewish community, through food, learning, cocktails and music. Anyone, regardless of background is invited to all our events! If you have questions or need our address, message us on Facebook.

🎶 Challapalooza: Boston’s Jew-ish Music Festival — June 21!
🎟️ Get your early bird tickets here!We’re excited to invite you to the second Challapalooza — a joyful celebration of Jewish music and culture!
Where: Cambridge, MA (exact location sent with tickets) When: June 21, 11am–8pm
What to Expect
- 🎵 Music all day! Boston’s greatest Jew-ish bands including Levyosn and The Ruth & Ben String Band, plus klezmer, Balkan grooves, freak folk, theatrical folk, and jazz-inflected improvisation.
- 📚 Learning all day! A parallel tikkun with no-barrier-to-entry classes on everything from Jewish weaving to Mishnah to klezmer history.
- 🍴 Food + Art + Community Kosher food trucks, art vendors, and booths from local Jewish orgs, schools, and synagogues.
We’re still looking for:
- Teachers (teach a class at our all-day beit midrash)
- Artists (sell your art or help design)
- Volunteers (day-of + planning support)
